John Sink
John started Aqualon in 2000 and is surprised he isn’t bald and gray, though he is considerably wrinklier. He delights in gathering people together, drawing out their gifts and strengths, and letting them go get ‘em. His reverence for God drives his decisions both personally and professionally. Family is dear to John and his wife Heidi. His oldest son, Jared is also in the Green Industry in Colorado, where he and his lovely wife Maria daily gaze on the beautiful mountains. John’s daughter Megan cares for children at Children’s Hospital in Dayton. Winston is home-schooling and doing construction work and Owen is home-schooling and wants to be a helicopter pilot. More coffee, please.

Ashton
Ashton is our Service Manager at Aqualon. He is a certified backflow technician and has been with Aqualon since he was a young teen. He has helped fill several roles through the years, from install and snow removal, to scheduling and service. In his free time, he enjoys studying philosophy and theology, as well as producing music and playing video games. His favorite thing about working at Aqualon is the people he works with. He says there isn’t anyone at the company he doesn’t get along with or enjoy working with.

Blayton
Blayton has been with us for two years, balancing work and school as he helps out on the install team. He’s eager to learn about irrigation and has been a great addition to the Aqualon family! In his free time, Blayton enjoys playing video games and tracking down the best local sushi. Keep an eye out when your system is being installed, and you’ll likely see Blayton working hard to water your yard.

Dan
Dan is the Director of Operations at Aqualon, working to keep the irrigation install and service departments moving like a well-oiled machine. In the colder months, Dan transitions into our Snow Manager. Being one of our longest tenured employees, Dan’s seen the Aqualon family grow through the years, and says the family atmosphere is his favorite thing about Aqualon. After-hours you may catch Dan on the local pickleball courts, or relaxing by the ocean.

Deaton
Deaton is Aqualon’s Estimator. He helped out in the Install team in 2019, then left the Aqualon family for a few years before returning in 2023. He may be new to estimation, but is eager to learn what he can to help customers receive their quotes in a timely manner. He helps keep the office running, and helps in Sales as well. He enjoys playing video games, practicing with his bass, hitting the gym, and spending time with friends.

Derrick
Derrick is an Install Team Member at Aqualon, working to keep your lawn green and healthy. He’s a team player and you’ll likely see him hard at work on our installation sites. Derrick enjoys working in his own yard, and carries that care to your yard as well! He enjoys the family atmosphere here at Aqualon, and spends his free time with his two kids or relaxing with some video games.

Eric
Eric is Aqualon’s General Manager, and works with John to lay out the road to success for Aqualon. He has a BBS in Business Management and experience in a wide range of fields including CAD, property management, and construction. He’s been married to his wife Marina for five years, and enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, and playing tabletop games such as Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering. Eric currently holds the title for Longest Beard at Aqualon.

Hayden
Hayden is one of our Service Technicians. He came to Aqualon as his first foray into the green industry, but has quickly proved his mettle as a skilled and competent tech. If you have a problem with your system, look no further than Hayden for your service needs! He and his wife Liz have three daughters, and Hayden spends his free time with them, watching sports and testing out new culinary tastes.

Jason Welker is a member of the Install Team, and a cheerful member of the Aqualon family. He came to Aqualon with a background in mowing and landscaping, but now he works to keep your grass growing rather than cutting it down! His favorite aspect of working at Aqualon is the family environment. In his free time, Jason enjoys keeping up with the latest sports news, kicking back to watch a movie or play some video games, and hanging out with his cat, Mac Milton.

Jeff
Pastor Jeff Voshall serves as our certified and specialized Turf Services Manager. He has over 11 years of experience in the green industry, and has been employed at Aqualon for over 4 years now. Jeff’s desire to help our customers put together the right plan of action for the best turf growth and turf health, contributes to the overall success of our applications and turf renovations. He serves as an Ordained Pastor and regional leader, currently with Open Bible Churches. His go to book of choice is “The Bible” and enjoys listening to uplifting and encouraging Christian music. He has been married to his wife Erika for 18 years, and they have 4 wonderful children. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, playing fun games, eating fried chicken, and snacking on Slim Jims while downing an ice-cold Coca-Cola.
